Being spiritual is so last century!

I was talking to a friend at the weekend. She was saying that she didn't consider herself 'a spiritual person' - not in the usual sense, anyhow.Now I'd always deeply valued this friend, so felt the need to dig a little deeper on this. I said I'd seen how, from an early age, she'd always questioned the constructs that society fed her and found her own way, creating structures and finding new ways of doing things that fit her own way of seeing things. To me that was all deeply spiritual. She agreed.Being spiritual, surely, isn't about having a good grounding in spiritual 'theory', knowing about the chakra system, what foods to eat to keep your vibration high, or about talking a good spiritual talk. Being spiritual is about being real. It's about living true to who we are - whatever that is. Where I come from, there's no division between spiritual and non-spiritual. There's just authentic being...
